Firstly, welcome to the Anti-Hackers! Official Website.
We are a small group/community set up with an aim to try and reduce the amount of people getting hacked, concentrating on Steam. The group has helped lots of people stay safe and secure. We have over 2000 members on Steam, and we’re growing all the time.
The Steam group can provide the tools (announcements etc.) needed to keep people informed about new phishing websites to look out for, and other threats. The website is also a good place to get information, and you can also contact us here if you need to.
Our website can and will also provide up to date information about new phishing threats and contains many guides and other articles which may be of interest. They are listed in the navigation. We are always trying to improve our service to try and make you feel safer and protected online, so any feedback you have would be appreciated.
As we are a non-profit organisation, you will never be charged for the use of our services. However, we would always be glad of any donations, should you find yourself with an extra pound in your pocket, so to speak. Our advice is free to you, and if you happen to get hacked we will try and help you out of the gutter.
Our slogan – Keeping the Steam Commutiy Safe! – suggests our main field of expertice remains with Steam, even through account security remains general throughout the internet. While for the most part the announcements are about Steam phishing websites, if a threat too big to pass arises, we will obviously let you know.
If you like the idea of our group, have joined, or are an existing member reading this already, I would ask you to invite your Steam Friends to the group since we need to get bigger. After achieving my goal of getting 1000 members before the end of 2010, I set about getting 2000 members before the end of 2011. This goal has also been completed, and I will just leave things withoout goals for now to see how things go.
We are the largest group dedicated to minimising account hacking on Steam. I’d like to remain that way. Not for my benefit; for yours. And so I quote Dr. Breen: Whether you are here to stay, or passing through to parts unknown… Welcome to Anti-Hackers!
